I work at Valvoline and we have a rule that states you can't work downstairs for more than four hours without a 3 hour relief. These bastards stick me in the basement everyday for hours on end including a full 11 hour shift Add comment

Wow! Valvoline Instant Oil Change is in the business of ripping people off? I was bored, surfing the net and stumbled upon this. I've never been but I assure you I never will after reading this! I'm sticking to my local Firestone...I've never had oil leak problems with them. That seems to be a huge problem with Valvoline Instant Oil Change from what I've seen. Time to make this go viral on social... Read more

This was done in New Philadelphia Oh. 1. Employee filled to 1 quart over capacity. Employee lied when he showed me the dipstick showing oil right on the full mark. 2. When I returned to Grand Rapids Mn. I noticed oil on the garage floor. Checking the dipstick showed 1 quart over capacity. Where did the oil come from? I took my car to the Hyundai dealer (in Brainerd Mn. 87 miles each way)... Read more

I am an employee at Valvoline and we do not recommend any service that the vehicles manufacturer does not recommend. As for the claims of inaccuracy of our system, Your owners manual may say your vehicle holds five quarts, but your owners manual is not updated. For instance, Ford vehicles before 1990 or so called for a 10w30 weight oil, Ford issued an update and now recommends a 5w20 weight... Read more

It's a ripoff!!! Your old oil filter will be wiped off to look like it was changed, if you pay for synthetic, then you're a fool...they will DEFINITELY only use conventional oil & you'll never know the difference. Your oil pan will be deliberately damaged! The drain plug will be deliberately over-tightened causing leaks in hopes you will pay them to do the repair/replacement. Most technicians... Read more

When they noticed that my oil change was little overdue, they told me that they drained only ONE LITRE of oil from my engine. I immediately reacted calling them scammers and told them just to pack it up. I still paid for full service even though they did nothing but fill up oil. Out of three guys there only one did not say anything, he was polite, while other two tried to defend themselves...this... Read more

My gas tank can be Full and the gauge on my dashboard will swing wildly back and forth. The damages will cost me $1200 to repair.
